Job Description
General
This is a full-time, professional position that requires reliability, attention to detail, good communication skills, and good teamwork skills. The job will entail both deskwork and fieldwork (approx. 60/40). Travel throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC will be nearly constant. Specific training for job duties will be provided.
This is an entry level or early career position.
Requirements:
· College Degree in a science related field, preferably in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or environmental aspects. Partial degree completion will be considered. A High School Diploma is a must.
· 1 to 2 years of EHS consulting experience preferred, but not required. NYS Mold Assessor certification is strongly desired. We will train you and arrange for the required licensing.
· Ability to independently navigate the NYC subway system and respond to all 5 boroughs of NYC on a daily basis.
· Ability to climb ladders and stairs frequently, work at heights, and work in restricted spaces. Ability to carry up to 25 pounds over extended distances.
· Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional language proficiencies are a strong plus.
· Ability to generate technical reports with limited oversight.
- Perform Project Monitoring and Maintain daily logs of activities related to project work.
- Able to Interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives.
- Will need to read, understand, and implement regulations and consensus standards.
- Will frequently need to balance multiple priorities and efforts simultaneously.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to perform independently or with an experienced leader, some or all of the following services:
· Conducting Mold Assessments (Primary Responsibility)
· Monitoring Cooling Towers
· Conducting IAQ Investigations
· Completing Right to Know Filings
· Collecting Water Samples
· Writing Technical Reports
· Support Other Departments with Report Production
· Effectively Manage Client Requests
· Other tasks, as needed, in the best interest of the company

The salary range for this position is $48K to 54K, depending on experience and education.
