Event Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly ambitious and community driven Event Assistant to support the planning, promotion, and execution of fundraising events for our nonprofit clients. This role will focus primarily on promotional sales, outreach, and fundraising efforts aimed at engaging donors, community members, and customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our cause, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills to contribute to the success of our charity events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of promotional campaigns to increase event attendance and sponsorship.
• Track and manage promotional sales efforts, including merchandise.
• Work with the fundraising team to develop strategies for raising money before, during, and after events.
• Engage with donors, community members and customers to encourage donations and participation in fundraising activities.
• Ensure that all materials, signage, and promotional items are prepared and available at the event.
• Maintain accurate records of donor and sponsor contact details, event progress, and fundraising totals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in promotions, sales, or marketing, preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for supporting charitable causes and community engagement.
• Experience with fundraising platforms and tools is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per week
