The Role:
As our Admissions Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking treatment. You will play a crucial role in guiding prospective clients through the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition into our program.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and screenings to determine appropriate level of care.
- Provide information about our programs and services to prospective clients and their families.
- Manage the admissions process, including verifying insurance, coordinating intake appointments, and completing necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless client care.
- Provide compassionate support and guidance to individuals in crisis.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal regulations regarding substance abuse treatment.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Counselor (LPC, LMHC, etc.), Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LMSW), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Paramedic.
- Experience in the substance abuse treatment field preferred.
- Strong understanding of addiction and recovery principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-aced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-authorization procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
