What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Coach position at Alchemy Coaching?
Hybrid opportunity for an emerging coach (life, executive, career, or other area of specialization) under the supervision of a board certified coach in New York's Hudson Valley. This is a part-time, contract role. The selected candidate will be empowered to exercise autonomy regarding client recruitment, case size, fee structure, and other facets of the coaching relationship.
Shared resources include a furnished office in Stone Ridge, NY, an established brand known for high-quality services and partnerships throughout the Hudson Valley, and a recognizable internet presence.
This is a 1099 contractor role; salary structure and revenue share terms negotiable.
Responsibilities
Provide high quality coaching services to identified population (adolescents, adults, couples, etc) utilizing established and validated coaching techniques;
- Assist coaching clients with identifying personal, academic, and professional goals;
- Taking a collaborative stance, partner with clients to identify strategies for increasing well-being, navigating life transitions, and overcome challenges related to life, career, or relationships;
- Identify cognitive and behavioral supports to overcome limiting beliefs and roadblocks;
- Employ empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard alongside curiosity and creativity in exploring client problems;
Maintain accurate records related to caseload and coaching activities including on-boarding documents, coaching contract, coaching session notes, and billing;
Ensure collection of coaching fees and associated reporting;
Represent Alchemy Coaching with professionalism and the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with emphasis on basic listening and helping skills;
Strong knowledge of, and ability to utilize, theories of helping and coaching and associated techniques;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Well developed organizational and time management skills;
