As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. You’ll play a key role in managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the safe handling of items. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling and storage of goods.
- Manage and schedule warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
- Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and maintained, with regular stock audits and updates.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and schedule regular maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure all items are safely stored, labeled, and organized to prevent damage and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution and shipment of goods.
- Monitor warehouse safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Analyze workflow and processes, recommending improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the moving and relocation industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices, inventory control, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training and development.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and perform light maintenance as needed.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
