We are partnering with a Logistics organisation seeking an Import Coordinator to join their team in New Jersey.
Responsibilities;
- Handle the daily handling of import functions
- Sending delivery orders and dispatching shipments to carrier for final deliveries
- Verify bills of lading numbers
- Ensure all shipments arrive on time
- Ensure the ETA system is updated
- Confirm all delivery order receipts
- Ensure systems are kept updated on deliveries
- Ensure cargo has been moved out of the terminal
- Obtain proof of deliveries
- Responsible for customs examinations including processing of payment
- Must have approved demurrage guarantee form
