Pay Type : Hourly, bi-weekly.

Work Setting : In-Office.

Work Location : N3220 Seier Road, Fall River, WI 53932.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday; 7 : 30am to 5 : 00pm, with available overtime hours / pay.

  • Grain Customer Solutions Specialist Essential Responsibilities :

    ALCIVIA is looking for a Customer Solutions Specialist to join our Grain Business Unit. In this position, you will be a part of our Grain Customer Service Team and work on administrative tasks within our computer system while trucks are driving up to the vehicle weight-scale while they are entering / leaving our facility location. The primary administrative tasks within our computer systems include : weighing trucks, product sample testing, generating scale tickets, and communicating with the truck drivers through the speaker system. This position is responsible for providing effective customer support for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-department knowledge of ALCIVIA products and services as well as communicating effectively with team members throughout ALCIVIA. On-the-job training will be provided. During busier times of the year, this position requires you to stand for long periods of time.

  • Operating the grain scale, which is weighing the semi-trucks coming in and out of the assigned location
  • Weigh grain on all inbound and outbound loads and issue scale tickets
  • Weigh trucks other than grain as deemed necessary for location
  • Accurately grade grain and apply discounts for moisture, foreign material, damage, vomitoxin and other discounts as necessary
  • Provide high level of Customer Service by being courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable
  • Successfully and quickly answer customer questions
  • Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed
  • Notify management regarding important service issues or customer concerns
  • Partner with originators to exceed customer expectations
  • Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules
  • Help in other areas of the business as bandwidth allows
  • May be assigned other departmental tasks when it is not harvest season
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Requirements :

    Grain Customer Solutions Specialist Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience required
  • Proficient computer experience
  • Agriculture and / or Grain knowledge is preferred, but not required
  • Comfortable with numbers and office procedures
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Service focused mindset
  • Work well independently and within a team
  • Open to continuous learning and improvement opportunities
  • Ability to work overtime during harvest season (rotation weekends with advance notice, weekends only during harvest season, which is typically October & November)
