Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers an hourly rate with bi-weekly pay. Full-time benefit eligibility begins on the first of the month following date of hire. Job Responsibilities
This role involves performing various duties throughout the Grain & Agronomy facility, including operating and maintaining grain elevator equipment, ensuring incoming grain delivery, loading and unloading bulk and packaged fertilizer, and measuring agronomy inventory.
- Operate and maintain grain elevator equipment, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers.
- Ensure incoming grain from semis or trains are delivered efficiently and correctly.
- Load and unload trucks and railcars using heavy equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
The successful candidate will also assist members with loading and unloading corn/beans/wheat, keep accurate records of grain inventory and transactions, and store bushels properly, safely, and efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED, previous grain production experience, and agriculture background. You must also have a clean driving record, basic computer and technology skills, good written and verbal communication, and the ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions.
