We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in our logistics facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in inventory management, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Ensure accurate inventory control, including cycle counts and audits, to minimize discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and sales departments.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational challenges.
- Handle any warehouse-related issues, such as damaged shipments, delays, or discrepancies, and resolve them in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in logistics or distribution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Inventory management systems or ERP software implementation.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
