ALCO Logistics is an established Delivery Service Partner with Amazon. We are launching a brand new delivery service with Amazon, DSP LITE in Skokie, IL. We are looking for delivery drivers who can work FLEXIBLE SHIFTS delivering Amazon same-day packages to customers, using small cars (not personal cars or cargo vans).
Responsibilities : -Report to station for vehicle and route assignments-Inspect company vehicle for damage and safety-Load packages into the vehicle- Drive safely to deliver products to customers using an app for navigation- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction with delivery service
Qualifications : - MUST BE 21 OR OLDER. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record-Must be able to pass a drug test (THC NOT TESTED) and criminal background check- Previous experience using delivery apps or delivery jobs preferred- Knowledge of route driving and navigation- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers- Ability to lift and move heavy items when loading and unloading- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
