Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Manager to oversee our materials management processes. Duties
- Develop and implement materials management strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production demands.
- Responsible for procurement, maintaining strong supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Develop and utilize ERP systems (SAGE) for tracking inventory, orders, and materials requirements.
- Coordinate with production planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Analyze supply chain processes for continuous improvement opportunities, applying Lean manufacturing principles where applicable.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to materials management and inventory turnover.
