Responsibilities:
- Manage the activities of bargaining unit employees in Anode Assembly, Baked Carbon, Green Mill, or Potroom Services (380) depending on primary assignment.
- Provide leadership in day-to-day activities aligned with departmental operating plans in safety & health, environment, cost, ABS, quality, customer satisfaction, and labor relations.
- Ensure production schedules, manpower scheduling, and production equipment maintenance meet departmental objectives.
- Oversee the activities associated with the flow of carbon anodes through the carbon bake furnace and the operation and maintenance of bake furnace equipment.
- Accountable for ensuring department personnel follow safe standard operating procedures to maintain stable processes and product quality that consistently meets or exceeds customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated PC skills are required, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS-Outlook.
