About the Role:
Our Pinjarra refinery is currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer. As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and long-term integrity of the Refinery's electrical infrastructure. You will oversee high-voltage activities, including coordination, planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements. This role ensures compliance with Australian and Alcoa standards, while working closely with customers to develop equipment management strategies that support the Refinery's business objectives and maintain the health of the electrical systems.
Other duties of this role:
Rapidly solve specific site electrical infrastructure problems.
Ensures application, utilisation and transfer of current best practice and technology for maintenance activities.
Audits equipment design and operation and maintenance to ensure compliance with relevant standards, strategies, suitable treatment of obsolescence and spare stock.
Monitors and contributes to the electrical infrastructure equipment “whole of life” performance.

What you can bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
Qualified in and experienced with HV Switching
Previous experience in Maintenance, Reliability or Plant Engineering is highly regarded,
The ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation,
High self-motivation with a desire to learn new skills,
A sound track record in proactive problem solving with your use of initiative, and be a catalyst to continuously improve business performance within a dynamic team environment!
