Facility Maintenance

Alcobra Metals, a leading specialty metals distributor based in Spokane, WA, is seeking a self-motivated facilities maintenance worker to assist in maintaining clean and safe work environments.

This position supports production staff in ensuring shop spaces are maintained to high standards of cleanliness. This role is also pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Essential functions include:

• Cleaning Alcobra facilities including restrooms, breakrooms, and kitchen areas.
• Cleaning shop equipment such as bandsaws, shears, forklifts, and other machinery as needed
• Cleaning administrative offices and customer-facing spaces which includes shelves, racks, countertops, and other work surfaces
• Other responsibilities may include putting material away, sweeping shop floors, and helping production staff as-needed.
• Communicate damage to facilities to company management
• Communicate cleaning supply needs to management
• Check property exteriors for garbage or vandalism

Alcobra cleaners primarily use brooms, mops, dust mops, vacuums, squeegees, and other hand tools to complete necessary tasks. This role will likely lead to future employment in other production roles at Alcobra if desired.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
