Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health and/or substance use therapy for individuals
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual sessions
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client information and client progress
- Assist with discharge planning and processes, including referrals to community based resources as appropriate
- Adhere to all agency and licensing standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field
- Current and unrestricted state license (limited license therapists encouraged to apply)
- CAADC strongly preferred
- Previous experience providing therapy preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Experience working with couples, families and children a plus
