As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer II supporting the Engineering Project Execution Team, you will be trusted with all tasks related to equipment projects within our products' manufacturing lifecycle at the Houston, TX Manufacturing Facility!
In this role, a typical day will include:
Leading the Project Execution group, a mix of full-time associates and contractors, to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Allocating tasks, reviewing performance, implementing, and upholding project processes standards, clarifying requirements with stakeholders, securing required resources, and mentoring team members.
Prioritizing projects and available resources within the project group to ensure site goals are met.
Supporting the design and validation of automated and semi-automated equipment and processes to ensure the most efficient and productive manufacturing outcome throughout the equipment's lifecycle.
Designing the sequence of production operations and adapting responsible equipment in response to factory conditions and demand.
Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
What You'll Bring to Alcon:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 13 yrs; Assoc. 9 yrs; M.S. 2 yrs; PhD 0 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
