As a Sr. Associate, Lifecycle Management, you will be trusted to provide IRIS SAP System and Material Master Process expertise and support to associates, business process owners and partners in the local manufacturing site(s). You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of SAP material master data for the local manufacturing site(s). In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for Global Data Management (GDM), supporting data governance, cleansing, and standardization while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve master data issues and maintain compliance with global and local operational standards at our ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Provide guidance to manufacturing business and process owners regarding the procedural and systematic tasks required by LDS.
- Analyze business problems and operational data from one or more sources to formulate solutions of moderate to significant complexity.
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence reporting solutions.
- Ensure that the Alcon business rules defined in the GDM Data Dictionary are applied for the manufacturing site.
- Analyze, coordinate and complete new material master setup and change requests in Alcon ERP systems to support day to day business operations.
- Work closely with other business teams like Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Sales, to address and resolve master data issues in a timely manner.
- Query disparate databases to analyze large amounts of data to support Alcon manufacturing data validation activities.
- Participate in data governance and data quality/cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in Global Data Management (GDM) quarterly and monthly data steward meetings to understand and communicate new processes and standards to other team members.
- Coordinate data setup activities like costing, pricing, source list, PIRs, material data extension approvals to support product launches in manufacturing.
- Collect and store evidence of each change event related to financially controlled material master attributes and perform monthly financial control audits utilizing standard guidelines.
- Act as point of contact for internal and external financial audits related to area of control.
- Serve as primary contact within local manufacturing business when business disruption occurs related to materials (transactional, logistical).
- Understands local manufacturing structure to perform appropriate extensions and setups to support local supply chain activities & gain approvals in timely manner.
- Works directly with Global Data Management team to represent manufacturing site as changes to Global material settings are proposed (UOM, GTIN, Descriptions, etc.).
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc. 6 yrs; M.S. 0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with SAP ERP Systems.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and material lifecycle management.
- Proficiency utilizing BI reporting tools for data analysis, validation, and reporting solutions.
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills.
- Experience coordinating across departments (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Sales) to resolve master data issues and support business operations.
- Familiarity with GDM (Global Data Management) standards, financial audits, and data accuracy best practices within a corporate environment.
- Strong Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) and familiarity with database management systems.
