We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hardworking people to join Alcon! As a Technician II supporting our manufacturing site, you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at Johns Creek, GA.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Constructs, solve problems, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in the prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks
- Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as advised
- Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- MA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquired
- Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift: 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend). This shift starts at 6:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical Certification
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
