Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end user research process, from planning to execution and reporting.
- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
- Analyze and synthesize research data to uncover user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate research findings into the design and development process.
- Develop personas, journey maps, and user flows based on research insights.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.
- Utilize research tools and platforms such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, Google Analytics, and survey tools.
- Present research findings and actionable recommendations to leadership and project teams.
- Stay updated on emerging UX trends, tools, and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in user research, UX research, or human-centered design.
- Strong proficiency in usability testing, heuristic evaluation, and A/B testing.
- Experience with data visualization, qualitative & quantitative analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with design thinking and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present research insights effectively.
- Ability to mentor junior researchers and foster a research-driven culture.
- Experience working in government contracting, healthcare, fintech, or enterprise solutions.
- Certifications in UX research, design thinking, or usability testing.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
- Familiarity with AI-driven user research tools.
