- Ability to work within the overall organization of Facilities Management.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills with the capacity to follow instructions and the capability to express ideas effectively and concisely.
- Must be willing to seek training to enhance or learn new skills.
- Must be accessible and available in the event of emergencies or when needed to meet the ongoing missions of the University.
- Must possess and maintain a Mississippi Driver’s License.
- Must adhere to all safety standards and work practices set by the Department of Facilities Management.
- Should be well organized and able to work independently without close supervision.
- Should be vitally interested in grounds maintenance.
