Summary :
The Alcott Center for Mental Health Services is seeking an organized, motivated, and professional candidate for the Program Manager position. Under the Director of Mental Health, the candidate will oversee the daily functioning of the agency's Los Angeles CIRCLE program. The Los Angeles City CIRCLE program is a 24 / 7 program providing unarmed crisis response to calls received through a centralized dispatch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following :
- Provide recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of direct service staff that include a Response Team and a Support Team.
- Daily coordination and oversight of program operations and program activities.
- Trains and supervises Case Management responder and support staff about client resources, documentation, risk assessment, safety planning, crisis intervention, de-escalation strategies, conflict resolution and emotional support.
- Supports Quality Assurance Director in ensuring that all staff complete documentation requirements in a timely and accurate manner; assists with ongoing documentation reviews to ensure that reports are completed per contract guidelines.
- Assists Director of Mental Health and Director of Quality Assurance during agency and program audits.
- Provides crisis intervention services as needed, including responding to 24 / 7 staffing structure.
- Develop awareness of funder expectations and respond to funders with appropriate communication and coordination of services.
- Ensures coordination of services between staff and all intra-agency programs including fostering strong partnerships with law enforcement, hospitals and other agency partners.
- Ensures monthly reporting requirements to meet contract and agency demands.
- Represents agency at community meetings as directed by Director of Mental Health.
- Monitor that staff are providing an appropriate level of service and that CIRCLE documentation is being completed in a timely manner.
- Provide and / or coordinate community outreach to disseminate information regarding LA City's CIRCLE program and serve as primary LA City contact.
- Other duties, as designated by the Director of Mental Health, or agency need.
- Supervisory Responsibilities : Supervises program staff, including case managers, responders and support staff. May require after-hours or weekend oversight.
QUALIFICATIONS :
If driving a company vehicle is an essential function of your position, you are required to possess and maintain a valid CA Driver's License and be insurable by our insurance carrier.
All employees are required to be fully vaccinated and have (1) Booster upon hire date. If you have a medical or religious exemption proof will be required upon hire date.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week; the agency is currently open for services Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 am-5 : 00 pm.
PAY : $70,000 - $75,000 per year
