POSITION SUMMARY
The Encompass Administrator is part of the Encompass Support Team which is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the Company’s Loan Origination System, reporting, and support for various related applications. The Encompass Administrator will play an integral role in the overall technical strategy to migrate eligible solutions into automated processes by leveraging C#, VB, VB.NET, PowerShell, and Web API's. Third Party integrations and maintenance is a large part of this role. The Encompass Administrator must be self-motivated and driven to consistently deliver outstanding end-to-end support and will have demonstrated experience with troubleshooting production problems. A deep understanding of loan level workflow knowledge is key when engaging different departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Propose and document system designs that meet or exceed current business requirements
- Review and guide application designs to meet performance, scalability, and reusability requirements
- Work with other members of Encompass Support Team to develop and execute system processes
- Work with other members of Encompass Support Team and Training Department to explain benefits of design proposals
- Collaborate with other members of Encompass Support Team and operations teams to create synergy leading to successful application delivery
- Contribute to technical process improvements across a variety of disciplines such as: training, Change Management, and modern development practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment/configuration/setup issues and work with appropriate teams to correct any issues
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE, AND COMPETENCIES
- At least two years of experience using Ellie Mae Encompass
- At least three years of experience as tier-1 technical support or working in customer service
- Able to respond quickly, professionally, and courteously to problems and question raised by sales and operations staff
- Able to meet reasonable work deadlines or communicate schedule changes well in advance
- Advanced navigation skills within Encompass
- Basic familiarity with mortgage compliance regulations (e.g., TRID, HMDA)
- Encompass Competencies:
- Basic familiarity with the Encompass implementation of VB.NET as used in Business Rules
- Granting access to users
- Defining business rules to limit user access, enforce workflow requirements, and define field values
- Creating custom fields with calculations
- Creating custom input forms and print forms
- Working with admin maintenance tools

- Encompass Administrator Certification
- Experience with using Microsoft Word field codes
- Demonstrable experience using Encompass SDK to create efficient, lightweight plugins.
- Encompass Developer Advanced Certification
- Proficiency with an object-oriented programming language, preferably C# and/or JavaScript, and basic working knowledge of JSON and REST APIs
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and a basic working knowledge of Postman
- Familiarity with accessing the Encompass Developer Connect Portal documentation and using the “Try It” feature
- Experience searching, creating, and updating loans using Encompass Developer Connect REST commands
- Navigational understanding of the Ellie Mae GitHub site for Encompass Developer Connect .NET Language Bindings
- Experience configuring webhooks
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a clerical office setting; climate-controlled surroundings with adequate lighting and little or moderate noise when in the office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and photocopying is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
