TITLE:                      Bilingual Education Teacher- Spanish

QUALIFICATIONS:          

1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Elementary Education
2. State of Illinois Certification/License- Approved Bilingual Education Teacher- Spanish
3. Elementary teaching or student teaching experience is preferred

REPORTS TO:         Building Principal(s)

JOB GOAL:              To provide instruction which meets the unique needs of students and

                               accomplishes the school district’s educational goals and objectives.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Salary and work year to be established by the Board

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Performance Evaluation Reform Act (PERA) and SB 7.  Any conflicts within this provision and SB 7 will be superseded by Ed Reform.
