Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various operations utilizing both hand and power tools to assist in the installation of wooden playsets. This role would also include delivery of spas to residential customers. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Assist in the fabrication of components as per specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet goals and deadlines.
- Conduct basic maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery when required, adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, with an understanding of basic assembly processes.
- The position is physical, and the candidate must have the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
- Reliable transportation is REQUIRED to be considered for the position.
