Alden School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Reading Specialist (Substitute) for the 2025-2026 School Year
Requirements:
- Current certification in Reading (All Levels) from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or Elementary Education (1-6) with additional training in reading instruction, SEI Endorsement required;
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university;
- Management skills that support students' social-emotional learning;
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners;
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks;
- Understanding the importance of collaborating with colleagues and families to create a positive learning environment for all students;
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
