Summary
Step into our kitchen as a Pastry Cook and whip up some magic! You'll be the artist behind our delightful desserts, making sure every sweet treat from our menu looks as good as it tastes.
We're looking for someone who can...
- Prepare pastries, baked goods, and dessert components using established recipes.
- Ensure each item meets quality, taste, and presentation standards before it goes out.
- Follow portion sizes, prep methods, and plating guidelines consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation.
- Handle, store, and rotate ingredients properly using FIFO practices.
- Assist with prep during slower periods and support the team during closing.
- Complete the closing checklist for pastry and kitchen stations.

Qualifications
- Required | 2 years' commercial baking/pastry experience, or:
- Alt. Required | Degree in pastry arts with 6 months' commercial baking/pastry experience
- Flexible work availability including weekends required
- WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
- Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered

Collaboration & Engagement
As a Pastry Cook, you will work under the direct guidance of the Executive Chef. In addition to your home department, you will regularly work with the Banquets, Restaurant, and Sales & Catering teams. You will not oversee other staff and can expect a minimal level of interaction with guests and the public.

Learn As You Go
- Knowledge identifying food products (by color, shape, texture, smell), understanding of cooking methodologies, adjusting dish by taste (salt, fat, acid, heat), and knowledge of European and American cuisine.
