What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Aldermill, Inc.?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Uses company systems to record and update financial transactions (experience in QuickBooks Enterprise desirable but not necessary)
- Assists with processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Has a basic understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, account types/charts of accounts)
- Performs clerical duties such as depositing checks, sorting mail, filing, printing/distributing/mailing subcontractor and vendor checks
- Creates new jobs/customers in accounting software
- Manages personal email, accounting email, phone calls, and text messages; responding in a professional, timely manner
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizations skills
- Willingness to learn
- Experience with QuickBooks, accounting, bookkeeping, and Excel preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
