What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Coordinator position at Aldersgate Center for Child Development?
Compensation based on experience. Starting at $16/hr more if have experience cooking in a child care setting and have a core knowledge of CACFP practices.
Work closely with the center director and staff to meet the needs of all the children in the center, along with those that have severe food allergies.
Must be able to meet proper nutritional requirements, ensure food is stored and handled properly, and that the kitchen and all its equipment are thoroughly sanitary. Be responsible for keeping logs, purchasing food, and keeping records of those accounts.
Must be clean, organized, have great time management skills, be creative and flexible!
Work well with others that rarely, but occasionally, will share your space.
18 year or older, with a high school diploma or equivalent of
