Are you a line cook tired of the crazy demand and hours of working in a restaurant? If so, we are looking for an EXPERIENCED professional line cooks to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for service. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Line Cook Job Responsibilities:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Must be able to keep a fast pace on busy days.
Work Hours & Benefits:
We have full-time and part-time positions available. All venues close by 9:00 PM, most close at 7:00 PM.
Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Organizational skills
Accuracy and speed in working on line
Knife skills; food prep skills
Ability to work as a team member
Follows directions and instructions
Education and Experience Requirements:
Two to three years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook
Experience cooking in fast-paced environment
Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
Familiar with industry best practices
