NOW HIRING – Nursing Supervisors (3pm - 11pm)
SUMMARY
In charge of the overall operations of the assisted living unit for a specified period (i.e., a shift) under the direction of a registered nurse. Responsible for participating in assessment, implementing, and documenting resident care as ordered by the physician. Directs and oversees the functions of the CNAs and MedTechs. Assists and supports the Clinical Care Manager and AL Care Coordinator.
Assists the day to day operation and administration of Assisted Living Units (Parker Terrace and Cuthbertson Village) Assists and supports the Clinical Care Coordinator; duties in this regard include but are not limited to: Cover the Wellness Clinic and triage resident concerns. Cover Aldersgate at Home with regard to staffing issues and client concerns. Assists and supports the AL Care Coordinator; duties in this regard include but are not limited to: Assessing, implementing, evaluating, and documenting resident care in the assisted living units;Act as AL LPN Supervisor on any shift(s) in an emergency situation; Oversees and directs the care activities of CNAs and MedTechs. Provides direct patient care to include but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, ambulating, transporting, treatments, proper applying/using safety devices, elimination and nutritional needs. Performs treatments/procedures including, but not limited to: catheterizations, irrigations, colostomy care, Accu-checks, oxygen, and other procedures as ordered.
Valid and Unencumbered LPN / RN is required.
