Key Responsibilities:
? Front Desk & Communication
- Greet residents, families, and staff warmly
- Answer phones professionally and direct calls accordingly
- Sort and distribute mail daily
? HR & Employee Support
- Assist with new hire paperwork & onboarding process
- Conduct background checks, license verifications (including Food Handler’s Permit & OBRA checks for NACs)
- Help manage employee access to PCC/POC systems
- Maintain and update employee files
- Track and coordinate annual evaluations
? Office & Business Operations
- Process accounts receivables and maintain records
- Act as a cashier, issuing receipts and recording payments
- Track and analyze accounts receivable aging, reporting delinquent accounts
- Assist in billing for Medicaid and Medicare programs
- Maintain statistical records for licensed bed utilization
- Order office supplies, including fax and copier materials
- Support the Admissions Coordinator with admission and discharge records
? Workplace & Compliance
- Assist with L&I claims & FMLA requests
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
- Promote a positive and welcoming work environment
- Be active! Ability to get 10,000 steps in per day ??????
What We’re Looking For:
?? Strong organizational and multitasking skills
?? Excellent communication and customer service abilities
?? Experience in administrative support, preferably in healthcare or a similar setting
?? Proficiency in office software and data entry
?? Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare billing, and HR functions is a plus

Requirements:Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred.
Licenses/Certification
Valid driver’s license required
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Three years of experience in accounts receivable, collections or similar area of responsibility.
Three years office or administration experience preferred.
