Temporary Seasonal Utility Worker – Maintenance and Operations Department
AWWDis accepting applications to fill multiple Seasonal Utility Worker positions. This position is based out of AWWD’s Maintenance and Operations Department in Lynnwood, Washington. This position will remain open until filled, with the first review of applicants on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The successful candidates will support regular district employees by assisting with routine building maintenance and janitorial for the offices, grounds and vehicles, as well as meter installations, traffic control, water/wastewater line maintenance, courier and flagging services. The temporary assignment will end at or before 5 months.
This position requires any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be work experience in cleaning and maintaining offices and grounds as well as experience with various hand and power tools.
A High School Diploma or GED and a Valid Washington State Driver’s License are required.

The Temporary Seasonal Utility Worker position pays $25.98 hourly.
The 2025 pay range for this position is $25.98– $34.82 hourly, with a starting pay $25.98.
