Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Reviews loan delinquency reports to identify any deemed or offset loans and communicates findings to record keeper.
  • Assists with reconciliation and funding of Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) contributions and loan repayments on a weekly basis.
  • Assists with Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) audits to identify and correct any discrepancies in deferral percentages between the HCM and the recordkeeping system.
  • Calculates qualified nonelective contribution (QNEC) corrections and tailors QNEC letters to meet differing situations.
  • Reviews date of hire and termination date changes to determine if an employee’s Retirement Savings Plan account has been impacted and coordinates any necessary corrections with record keeper.
  • Acts a department resource for divisional benefits contacts as well as National Services staff and management when questions arise.
  • Performs general office support and administrative assistance as required.
  • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
  • Interacts with various parties involved in the administration of ALDI’s benefits programs.
  • Assists in analyzing current working procedures and in identifying best practices.
  • Assists in evaluation of feasibility, effectiveness and efficiency of projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

  • No travel required.
