In this role, the Training & Development Generalist II on the Learning Technology team will be responsible program management of large-scale learning technology requests from our stakeholders as well as complex issue resolution with any of our learning platforms. They will also work with our LMS vendor (Cornerstone) and our 3rd party vendor to coordinate minor and major releases of the LMS software. This role will also provide guidance in developing and maintaining the Learning Technology team’s governance standards and oversee the auditing of the systems that this team is responsible for. The ideal candidate will have experience working with different learning technologies (LMS, Performance Management Systems, LXP and Knowledge Management platforms) managing large projects, good relationship building skills, and strong problem-solving experience.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Informs management of recurring issues or when additional team training may be required.
• Investigates, designs, creates, and revises employee development projects as requested.
• Serves as a point-of-contact for divisions and third-party partnerships regarding talent training and development.
• Provides ongoing assistance to users of employee development programs; develops and delivers user training and any relevant communication pieces regarding the programs.
• Understands ALDI competency models, and amends current programs and materials to reflect these models as needed.
• Understands developing trends in the training and development industry, and shares with their team and others in Human Resources.
• Assists in training and developing team members to retain a motivated and professional workforce.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field required.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Training & Development within a corporate environment required.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
• Experience in the selection and administration of assessment tools and providing feedback on individual or group assessment data preferred.
• Experience with SharePoint, Learning Management Systems (and other learning technologies), and instructional design software preferred.
• Experience Program/Project Management.
• Experience working in a Learning and Development organization.
• Experience defining system governance standards.
Physical Requirements:
• Work may be performed in an office, remote office, or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Travel:
• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
