Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing merchandise displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative visual merchandising strategies that align with brand standards and seasonal promotions.
• Create eye-catching displays that effectively showcase products and encourage customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and trends, ensuring displays are relevant and appealing.
• Conduct regular assessments of merchandise presentation, making adjustments as necessary to optimize layout design.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD to design layouts and visual concepts for store displays.
• Manage inventory levels of display materials and props, ensuring all necessary items are available for installations.
• Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising best practices to maintain consistency across locations.
• Monitor sales performance related to visual merchandising efforts, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or a similar role with a strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Strong layout design skills with an emphasis on visual design principles.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and AutoCAD is highly desirable.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box when developing merchandising concepts.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• A passion for retail trends and an understanding of consumer behavior will be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
