Job Description

Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese spreads, dips, entrées and more.

The company is a family-owned business and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli.

We are hiring a warehouse worker/backup delivery driver to support our operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pack finished products into boxes.
• Stack products on pallets.
• Move product to inventory locations and rotate stock.
• Run robotic case palletizer.
• Pick customer orders using ERP tablet.
• Identify expiration dates/serial dates of products to be picked.
• Assist in inventory cycle counts.
• Maintain food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Work in a cold environment (approximately 35 degrees).
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Hold a current Medical Certificate.
• Delivery routes include Philadelphia area, NY City, Baltimore, MD area and local stops in Montgomery County.
• Use a pallet jack.
• Previous experience driving a refrigerated 25ft truck required.
• Monday - Friday work week with flexible start and end times due to production scheduling.
