What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director, Finance (Remote) position at Aledade?
The Senior Director of Finance will drive strategic, financially-oriented thought partnership across all areas of business operations within Aledade. This role involves leading the Finance Business Partners assigned to support business areas across the organization. The Finance Business Partners are part of a newly-centralized team focused on financial intelligence, analysis, budget management, and forecasting with a focus on delivering strategic thought partnership with a financial lens to business leaders across Aledade. Accordingly, this role also includes the ongoing development and refinement of the Finance Business Partner team structure, ongoing processes, and available tools, in close partnership with the central FP&A team.
The Senior Director will also support other Finance initiatives, including but not limited to, capital planning and corporate development activities.
We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office.
\n- Strategic Leadership of Finance Business Partner Team: lead and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners supporting key departments across the organization; provide thought leadership and guidance on how this team can build trusted relationships and support strategic decision making across the business with a financial lens; develop and communicate the team’s strategic direction including areas of innovation to meet changing business needs.
- Strategic Finance Projects & Initiatives: supporting ideation and management of strategic finance initiatives in support of the organization’s medium- and long-term goals, including capital planning and related execution activities with external parties and evaluation of corporate development opportunities.
- Ad-hoc Finance Projects & Initiatives (as directed by / agreed upon with the CFO): helping coordinate and develop cross functional processes, report outs for leadership forums where needed, briefing senior team members on project progress and issues, etc.
- 12 years of progressive finance experience with a BS/BA in finance, accounting or a related field
- 5 years team leadership / people management experience
- This role can be hired at the VP level based on experience.

- Strong, results-oriented leadership ability in a fast paced, matrix organization
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail
