What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Special Needs Paraprofessional position at Aledo Independent School District?
This position is for a Functional Academics Special Education Teacher for the 24-25 school year.
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1) Content certification for 1 or more subjects and/or Highly Qualified for various contents.
2) SPECIAL ED SUPPLEMENT 7-12 or EC-12
3) UPLOAD UNOFFICIAL COPY OF YOUR COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS in your application for HQ review.
~Reports to: Principal
Primary Purpose:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned; see above
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
