This position is for a Librarian/Digital Learning Professional at Annetta Elementary for the 25-26 school year.

Primary Purpose:
Supervise and manage the school’s dynamic digital learning space. Provide services, programs and resources that empower students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesizing, and using information to solve problems, while also developing future-ready skills. Assume the role as an educator, materials expert, and curriculum adviser to ensure the seamless integration of the dynamic digital learning space into the school’s instructional programs. Work closely with the Curriculum and Instruction department and campus administration to provide targeted intervention to identified students to ensure academic progress.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required
Valid Texas teaching certificate required
Valid Texas librarian or learning resources specialist certificate or endorsement preferred
Valid Texas ESL certificate required
Master’s degree from accredited college or university (for individuals certified after January 23, 2001) preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Implement & support Future Ready Schools goals through professional practice, programs, and spaces
Understands and communicates importance of digital citizenship
Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
Build instructional and community partnerships Reading Academy
Trained Proficient in utilizing trending digital tools to enhance instructional delivery, student engagement, and collaborative learning experiences.
Experience:
Three years of experience as a teacher in the state of Texas required
