Job Description
Provide day-to-day coordination of project activities and client contact for successful contract execution within health promotion and human performance fields.
Qualifications: Requires 5 years program management experience and comprehensive understanding of the applicable programs and associated industry. The Program Manager must be capable and skilled in oral and written communications and able to apply these skills in communicating with all levels of management. The Program Manager must be technically qualified in all aspects of contract management and ensure that all tasks identified are completed in accordance with contract requirements. The Program Manager must be skilled in planning, supervisory, leadership, financial, and operational skills combined with the ability to develop and implement strategies and action plans to achieve desired objectives.
Job Description
Provide day-to-day coordination of project activities and client contact for successful contract execution within health promotion and human performance fields.
- The Program Manager shall be responsible for ensuring resources are provided that are capable of performing professional and technical support functions that commensurate with the contracts personnel staffing levels.
- The Program Manager will provide the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with status reports; monitor the contract to ensure that all tasks are being properly executed.
- The Program Manager shall be responsible for ensuring that all Contractor employees are fully qualified for the labor categories under which they are assigned and that Contractor employees perform the work efficiently and in a timely manner.
- The Program Manager must have the authority to handle all disciplinary matters involving the Contractor employees and to sign all papers, documents, and/or reports on behalf of the Contractor.
- The Program Manager shall ensure that other key personnel assigned perform all document reviews, data analysis, on-line data entry support, coordinate recommendation of revisions to user documentation, and maintain files and records, as required.
- The Program Manager shall conduct staff meetings on performance matters.
- The Program Manager shall review and approve status reports and properly disseminate such reports.
- The Program Manager shall monitor the operations of the contract.
- Assist in overseeing and manage planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting on programs
- Regularly meet with assigned employees as supervisor to ensure top performance recognition and corrective action as required
- Regularly meet with assigned contract COR's, Government Program Offices, Contracting Officers, and Customer Small Business Offices to secure new contracts
- Conduct proposal technical, management, and cost responses for bid opportunities.
- Follow and document contractual actions in accordance with SSI, Government policy and the FAR.
- Communicate with all levels of Management, Government officials, peers, and subordinates to insure clear communications
