The Hours
The Label Technician typically works 3 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm, although that can change slightly depending on the needs of the business. During our busy season we anticipate there being some Overtime available. Busy season typically runs from April-July but this can change subject to the needs of the business.
The Pay
The Label Technician position pays $17.50 / hour.
The Location
We are located at 51 Scarborough Lane, Milford, NH. This position is onsite.
Additional Job Details
- Follows and complies with all safety rules and regulations. Maintains individual work area / equipment in a neat, orderly manner. Detects and reports improper operations, faulty equipment / tooling, defective materials and unusual conditions to material lead or supervisor.
- Retrieve label components and transfer to the appropriate location in Label Department
- Cycle count, inventory control, inventory disposal.
- Work with AM’s and QA to pre-approve label templates for all finished good items.
- Create master carton labels per work order.
- Work with the Wax Dept. & QA dept. to identify when batches are to be able to assign date codes to work orders.
- Prep shop orders for production lines as well as stages for the entire order and issues labels per shift.
- Send date code / master carton information prepped on work order electronically to printers on production floor, ShopVue terminals.
- Reconcile components at the end of each shop order.
- Ensure accuracy of issuing and scrapping of material in IFS.
- Order / Maintain essential supplies for production.
- Maintain and basic trouble shoot Zebra printers.
- Ability to read and interpret information on shop orders and provide accurate counts for labels being produced.
- Effective verbal and oral communication skills; need to interact with account managers, managers and supervisors daily.
- Ability to operate label printer and other equipment and troubleshoot any problems.
- Ability to work accurately, with interruptions, to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, and good judgment .

Physical Demands & Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or touch; reach, talk, hear and smell. The employee may be required to, kneel, crouch, sit, climb or balance. The employee may lift and / or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, strong aromas, and near heat lamps. The employee is occasionally exposed airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (hearing protection is offered)
