Overview
Alera Group is looking for a Marketing Intern to join us for a summer internship program. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

This internship will assist with special projects as directed by the Employee Benefits Shared Services team. Projects may include tasks associated with the development of internal and external marketing materials and communications, including the development and deployment of marketing materials and other tasks that further the interests of Alera Group. This internship requires that students model honesty, teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Self-directed, creative, organized, and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Ability to research unfamiliar subjects & complex ideas, prepare reports, and clearly communicate recommendations & next steps.
- Confidence and ability to interact with other Alera Group colleagues as required for the completion of assigned tasks.
- Assist with the organization, development, implementation of operational projects.
- Strong time management skills and maintenance of own follow-up for workload assignments for timely completion to conclusion.
- Completion of projects determined by Employee Benefits Shared Services
Qualifications
- Must be professional, polite and be able to communicate clearly, concisely, in a business-like manner.
- Must be a self-starter; imaginative and creative with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multiple tasking environment.
- Should have strong computer skills with an emphasis in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- High school education and current college student. Seeking a degree in business, insurance, finance, marketing, communication or similar.
- Ability to understand written and oral communication and interpret abstract information.

Salary range is $20 to $25 per hour.
