Responsibilities
- Handle client requests, including certificates, endorsements, and binders, ensuring a 24-hour response time. Assist clients and prepare audit/explanation letters as needed.
- Support production by managing expiration lists, preparing new/renewal business applications, and rating submissions within established timeframes. Assist with proposals and keep producers informed.
- Accurately process endorsements, cancellations, premiums, and claims as required, maintaining client activity records and suspense items within set timelines.
- Comply with billing, accounts receivable, and collections policies, ensuring timely follow-up on unpaid audits and notifying producers as needed.
- Strong work ethic with high standards for quality and quantity, along with strong relationship management and communication skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to learn technical material related to insurance regulations, processes, and technology, while being solution-oriented and proactive in anticipating issues.
- Demonstrated project management skills, self-motivated, highly responsive, and proficient in necessary technology, such as Adobe and Microsoft Office, with a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in property and casualty insurance.
- Resident Producer License in Property and Casualty.
- HS Diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Intermediate to expert experience in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally in-person and over the phone
Additional Information
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
