Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to requests from Account Managers, Account Executives, and clients, ensuring efficient communication and high service standards.
Follow all agency systems, procedures, and timelines for tasks such as setting up marketing files, maintaining client data, and managing suspense items.
Perform rating functions on carrier websites and process policies, endorsements, and requests in accordance with agency protocols and timelines.
Prepare and issue insurance documents including certificates, applications, ID cards, and client correspondence using agency-approved formats and procedures.
Maintain accurate electronic and physical client records, ensuring proper scanning, photocopying, and file organization.
Collaborate with clients and insurance carriers to gather information or resolve service needs; handle special projects as assigned by supervisors.
Attend agency meetings and trainings regularly, pursue CISR designation through coursework, and adhere to attendance policies while demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Minimum of one year prior experience as an assistant in a retail insurance agency
- Completion of relevant insurance education (i.e. – CISR, INS 21, etc.)
- Fire & Casualty license

Salary range is $60K to 85K per year.
