- Manage the growth of a book of business, including marketing, claims, retention, and account development, in collaboration with team members.
- Provide strategic planning expertise, leveraging data analytics and program analysis to recommend coverage plan changes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships to deliver exceptional customer service and negotiate effectively with carriers.
- Educate clients on complex topics in an understandable manner and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry trends, compliance, and product knowledge to improve performance and client outcomes.
- Mentor and train junior team members while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Support company culture through leadership, teamwork, and social engagement with clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Benefits in the independent broker space.
- State Life & Health license required and meet continuing education requirements.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
