- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in assigned self-insured groups, including executives and HR professionals.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of clients' benefit plans, utilization, and financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Develop customized benefit strategies and long-term plans aligned with clients' business objectives and employee demographics.
- Design and implement tailored benefit plans, covering medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs, and wellness programs.
- Implement cost containment strategies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA).
- Negotiate contracts with third-party administrators, insurers, and service providers to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Use data analytics to provide clients with actionable insights, deliver employee education materials, and recommend program adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, with a focus on self-insured groups or large employers.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare, insurance industry trends, products, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SPHR, CBP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and benefit administration software preferred.
