The Insurance Center, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Dynamic Client Support Specialist to join our Commercial Lines department.

At TIC, our Client Support Specialists are the driving force behind our small market strategy, offering advice and support that empowers clients to navigate risks and propel their businesses forward. In this exhilarating role, you'll wear multiple hats as a consultant and relationship builder. You'll be at the forefront of supporting clients, cultivating relationships, and closing new small commercial insurance accounts while simultaneously nurturing and advising our existing client base. Responsibilities

  • Sales & Client Support: Provide sales support for new and existing accounts by responding to customer, carrier, and agent inquiries, resolving issues, processing policy changes, and managing new policies.
  • Document Preparation & Management: Prepare and monitor essential documents, including renewals, certificates, claims, cancellations, and applications, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Claims Coordination: Act as the central point of contact for clients and internal teams during the claims process, ensuring consistent communication, monitoring claim progress, and liaising with carrier adjusters.
  • Marketing & Proposal Support: Draft pre-approach letters and proposals to support marketing efforts and assist producers during client presentations and reviews.
  • Customer Relations: Interact professionally with clients and prospects, providing onsite support for large customers when needed and delivering exceptional service throughout the client relationship.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain product supply inventory, manage computer files and follow-up actions, and handle assigned projects to support daily operations.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend service seminars, team meetings, and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate’s degree, business or marketing related
  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Insurance agency experience and sales experience preferred.
  • Past experience should include basic insurance, forms, terminology, bonds, sales and other related insurance experience.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and proficient internet navigation required.

 

Additional Information

This job is expected to be performed on-site in the office.
