Vital Incite, an Alera Group company, is looking to add an experienced Business Quality Analyst to their team.

The Business Quality Analyst is responsible for the Business Analyst and Quality Assurance role. This position will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements, and develop test plans, test case and perform testing of the applications. This position will work closely with Product, Strategy and Integration teams, create and organize development tickets in Jira, collaborate with architects and developers to deliver the features and enhancements as required by Vital Incite.
The office is based in Indiana, but we're open to remote employees within the eastern time zone.
Responsibilities
- Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate complex business objectives into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Document of the Business Requirement (BRD)
- Actively participate and provide inputs on design and development phases to proactively identify potential quality issues early on.
- Quality Assurance – Develop comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to ensure thorough quality evaluation.
- Acts as a liaison between business users and developers, facilitating communication and aligning expectations.
Qualifications
- 8 years of overall IT experience
- 3 years of Business Analyst experience
- 3 years of Quality Assurance experience
- 3 years’ experience SQL/data verification testing
- Experience in the healthcare domain with knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims required
- Highly motivated and experienced individuals in gathering requirements, documenting and translating complex business logics into user stories
- Create comprehensive user stories with thorough acceptance criteria for the development team
- Expert in writing and executing test cases with exposure to all phases of software development life cycle using Agile methodologies
- Working experience with SQL Server and SQL Queries for data analysis
- Experience in Atlassian - Jira and Confluence for creating and managing the tickets and documentations
- Thoroughly regression test applications throughout the life cycle of each code release
- Consult with developers on an ongoing basis during the development cycle to ensure functionality is relevant to the current business and operational environment
- Act as liaison between users and developers as required during the development cycle to ensure issues are clarified, understood and resolved

Salary range is starting at $110,000, depending on experience.
