This position’s primary responsibility is to serve as the day-to-day expert on a book of business and the point of contact for clients while maintaining a high level of client and internal team satisfaction. The
Account Manager will assist Producers in coordinating the details for the annual renewal, preparing materials for quarterly client meetings, ensuring the flow of information to other departments as
needed, maintaining client databases, records management, project-specific assignments, and other responsibilities in support of client satisfaction as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage current client accounts and assist in sustaining these clients by providing quality expertise, timely service and creative solutions to meet their needs.
Serve as point of contact and resource to, and in alliance with, the plan sponsor to field plan participant questions related to enrollment, coverage or other related questions. Coordinate service and support activities with Producers as appropriate. Refer complex or unique inquiries to Producers when necessary.
Set up and maintain accurate and complete client data in client relationship management database (CRM), including documentation and management of action items and client communications according to procedure.
Work with Producers to identify and resolve client conflicts and concerns. Implement solutions as identified and ensure future conflicts or concerns are minimized.
Manage the implementation of all new contracts by overseeing the underwriting process and managing the related installation documentation and records.
Maintain and develop thorough knowledge of benefit related products represented by the agency and attend product training as requested.
Maintain thorough knowledge of regulatory issues affecting benefit plans and provide updates to clients when necessary.
Research, acquire and apply group health and wellness information to specific client needs.
Keep abreast of industry trends and to interpret the effect of carrier/product modifications.
Maintain the highest level of security and confidentiality regarding corporate and client-related information.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience with employee benefits.
- Life & Health license (required within 45 days of employment).
- Working knowledge of group health plans, life and disability plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite and ability to self-direct learning when necessary.
- Must be comfortable dealing with all kinds of people and have a desire to provide exceptional customer service.
CSNW Details:
Schedule: Monday through Friday- Business hours 8am-5pm. Occasional early mornings, and late evenings.
This is a Hybrid position that does require In Office time. Currently, all staff is in each Tuesday- this iswhen we do our all-staff meetings. In addition, you can come in any additional days you like.
