Overview:

NEEBco, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Large Group Account Manager. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities:
  • Educate clients on Small and Large group markets, funding mechanisms (fully insured, self-insured, captives), ancillary lines, ACA Shared Responsibility, Affordability requirements, and compliance needs (e.g., SPDs, annual notices).
  • Interpret medical loss ratio (MLR) for experience-rated groups, make renewal and plan recommendations, and negotiate renewal rates with carriers.
  • Develop multi-year planning strategies and facilitate wellness programs to align with client goals.
  • Coordinate and lead client meetings, renewals, and employee education sessions, accommodating flexible schedules and travel requirements.
  • Oversee NEEBCo Connect site builds, manage enrollment with carriers, and collaborate with Underwriters, Carriers, and Third-Party Administrators.
  • Assist clients with regulatory audits (DOL, CMS), maintain strong client relationships, and provide proactive service support.
  • Pursue business growth by handling client service inquiries, obtaining referrals, generating leads, and conducting sales calls.
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Medicare A, B & D.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with co-workers, clients and vendors.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle interruptions.
  • Work proactively and efficiently in a hybrid work model while maintaining strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
